How everything works
Everyone at the table shares one list. Whatever you change appears on
everybody else's screen straight away, and the table keeps its state even when the last
person closes the tab.
Joining
Table code
Everyone types the same code to land in the same fight. Share the link and the code
travels with it. Different code, different table — handy for a second party.
🎲 Game Master
One seat only. While a GM is connected, the option is greyed out for everyone else;
it frees up when they leave. Two things belong to the GM alone: hit points and the
damage box, and hiding combatants.
🛡️ Player
Any number, and they can take real work off the GM's hands: adding combatants,
renaming, initiative, icons, bloodied and dead, conditions, duplicating, setting aside,
removing — and running the turn itself, the sort order, the resets and the
encounter files. What they never see is hit points or hidden combatants.
Running the fight
Next ▸
Hands the turn to the next combatant. Past the last one it wraps around and the round counter goes up.
The current row glows red and the view scrolls to keep it in sight.
◂
Steps back one turn — for a misclick. It does not put ticked-down conditions back;
use undo for a true rewind.
Round 1
The round in progress. It pulses each time a new round begins.
↓ Init
Flips between highest-first and lowest-first. Anyone without a value sinks to the bottom.
◉
Scrolls back to whoever is acting, for when you have wandered off down the list.
↶
Undo — the last sixty changes, including damage, deleted combatants and expired conditions.
It rewinds the whole shared table, not only your own edits, so it can undo
something a companion just did. Use it promptly rather than repeatedly.
⋮
Clear initiative values and the round; clear every condition; empty the list entirely;
or save an encounter to a file and add one back in. Open to everyone at the table.
Adding combatants
+ Add combatant
Drops a blank row into the list with the cursor already in its name box.
Type the name, press Tab for initiative, Tab again for hit points.
🙈 + Add hidden combatant
GM only: the same, except the row is hidden from the moment it exists.
Use this rather than adding one and hiding it afterwards — an ordinary row appears on
the players' screens the instant it is created, so they would glimpse it while you reach
for the 👁️ button. Shortcut: Shift+A.
👤
Tap the icon on any row to change it. The picker holds around 285 icons in groups,
with a search box — try wolf, skull, tavern, ooze —
and a field for pasting any character you like. Every icon here is old enough that phones,
tablets and desktops all draw it, though each platform uses its own artwork.
👁️ / 🙈
GM only: hide a combatant from the players. Hidden rows are dashed on your screen and
absent from theirs. They still take their turn in the order — the players simply see
Something stirs in the Mists instead of a name.
Not a vault: the row is filtered out by the app, but the data does
reach the players' browsers. Anyone determined enough to open developer tools could read it.
It hides things from your table, not from a snoop.
⧉
Duplicate: another one of the same creature, at full health and with no conditions.
Names count up automatically, so one wolf becomes Dire wolf 1 and Dire wolf 2.
Initiative is copied, since identical monsters usually act as a group.
Hit points
❤️ 24 / 37
Current and maximum. The current box fills like a health bar —
green above half, amber below, red under a quarter.
− 7 +
Type the number and press − for damage or + for healing.
In that box Enter hurts and Shift+Enter heals.
🩸 💀
Bloodied and dead. Once a maximum is set these follow the numbers on their own:
bloodied at or below half, dead at zero. Without a maximum, tick them by hand.
Conditions
+ condition
Set the duration first — a preset, a typed number, or ∞ for something that lasts
until you remove it. Then choose a condition from the list, or write your own.
Nothing is added until you press the button, so you can change your mind about the duration.
Double-click a condition to add it straight away.
😭 Frightened 2
Each chip drains as it counts down and turns red on its final round.
Use − and + to adjust, × to clear it.
When they tick
At the start of that creature's own turn, not once per round — so
“Frightened 3” means three of its turns, the way durations read in play.
A note appears when something ends.
Tidying up
⤓
Set aside: moves a combatant out of the turn order into the section below the add button,
keeping their hit points, conditions and everything else. Good for dead monsters
you might still want to look at.
⤒
Puts them back into the fight.
×
Removes a combatant for good — recoverable with undo.

Saving and encounter files
The table lives on the server, so nothing is lost when a tab closes and
latecomers arrive to the fight already in progress.
Save encounter to file writes down what you can see.
Add encounter from file pours those combatants into the fight
rather than over it — so you can prepare the wolves and the ambushers as separate files
and drop each in when it arrives, or load the same file twice for a second wave. Names
already at the table count up, so a second Strahd arrives as Strahd 2. Loading never
touches the round or whose turn it is. To start clean instead, empty the list first.
